The December scavenger hunt categories will be up sometime next week, so I hope we get even more people to participate next time!
In other news, we are finally trying to let Gabby and Ellie be together for a few hours at a time each night. There have been no casualties so far ;-) And honestly, Gabby's being the NICE one, which is soooo surprising to me. Ellie is usually the one to lunge herself onto Gabby's face and start nipping at whatever fur she can reach. I think she thinks that Gabby is just a giant, living toy for her to play with :-)
The reason I want them to get used to each other now is because I found out that Max will be coming to stay with us the week of Christmas!! I thought that if we get Gabby and Ellie used to each other now, then it will be a little less of an adjustment for them both to get used to Max.
What, you forgot who Max is? Let me refresh your memory:
He's the little guy on my lap :-) He's our friends' dog, and I think we have become official pet-sitters. Their family is going out of town this Christmas to visit family, and I'm so excited to be able to watch Max during that time! I watched him last summer for a week too, so you might remember him from then :-)

I mean, geeze, I'm halfway to 50!! That's kind of scary, so I don't really want to think about that ;-)
