Sunday 5/1 - Luke and I spent a really lazy Sunday at home, napping and watching How I Met Your Mother, our new favorite show. I'm glad we had a restful day, because the rest of the week got a little crazy!
Monday 5/2 - This was Luke's birthday! So after work, I went grocery shopping and bought him the ingredients to his favorite meal, chicken stir fry, which I made for his birthday dinner. Later, we went to his parents' house where we visited and had cake and ice cream. It was a fun night, and I think Luke had a nice birthday! One of Luke's birthday presents :-P
Tuesday 5/3 - This was kind of a boring day because I spent the entire afternoon and evening working on entering books into our computer system for the new church library. I'll be so glad when this is done and the library can officially open!
Wednesday 5/4 - Just like Tuesday, I spent the evening working on library stuff...not too exciting!
Thursday 5/5 - Thursday night was a fun night! First of all, I went to Flower Factory with my mom to buy some things for my sister's bridal shower, which is next Saturday (yikes! It's coming up so fast!) Then we went to my sister's interior design senior showcase! this is where she got to have her own display with all of her best work from her 4 years in school. I was so proud of her, and very impressed by all her work! It was fun to walk through everything and see all the creative work of all the students. We stayed there for a few hours, and afterwards, went out to celebrate with my sister and her fiance and his family at a delicious Thai restaurant. I didn't get home until really late, but it was a great night :-)
Friday 5/6 - Luke was out with friends on Friday night, so I used that as an excuse to relax and watch How I Met Your Mother all evening while getting things done around the house between episodes :-) It was nice to chill out a little!
Saturday 5/7 - This was another great day, because I got to go to The University of Akron and watch my sister graduate! It was a beautiful day, and I was so proud to be there and watch her walk across the stage. She is now officially an interior designer! We took Julie and her fiance Andy out to lunch, and then headed home. Later that evening, I went out to see Something Borrowed with my mom and aunt! I had been looking forward to seeing it since I read the book this winter. It was a really cute movie!

This was taken after Julie's graduation. It was such a beautiful day, and I love that you can see the sea of excited graduates outside!
Things I'm looking forward to next week: Mother's Day, and Julie's bridal shower! It should be a very busy week preparing for that!
I want to see Something Borrowed. I haven't read the books yet, so I don't know if I should do that first or not!
