Changes

As you can see, my blog has undergone some more changes. I really wasn't loving the header I made the other night, so I made a new one! Plus my background was too "summery." Something about paisley says "fall" to me for some reason, so I thought this one was fitting! I'm becoming a little bit more savvy with Digital Image Pro. So far, just during the long weekend I've created two new blog headers, edited countless wedding pictures for the album that I'm creating, and even designed this year's Christmas cards! I would show you, but there may be family members or friends reading this, and I don't want to reveal their Christmas card in September!

In addition to my blog changes, we may be undergoing some changes in our family, too. By that I mean we may be inviting a new member into our family in two weeks! Let me explain.

Tonight, Luke and I went to a fish fry at his aunt and uncle's house. There just happen to be 5 little kittens living near their house.
Luke and I both held them, and fell in love (even though I'm sure Luke wouldn't admit it!) I really bonded with this cute 'lil' orange one (Ginnie...as in Ginnie Weasley)...
But I think this little girl, Ellie, has Luke wrapped around her little finger, er, claw :-P
We don't really NEED another cat, but who can resist those cute, little faces?? I think Gabby would enjoy a playmate, too! And cats are so easy to take care of, what's another one? I think we'll definitely be bringing one home in a few weeks when they're ready!

My sister-in-law just got two adorable little puppies that she brought tonight. They are Boxer/Beagle mixes, and just TOO CUTE! I think Luke is just happy I'm not begging for one of them! He's been pretty agreeable about the whole kitten thing, and that's probably why :-)

Their names are Charlie and Lucy. We had fun watching them chase each other around all evening :-)This is Charlie:
And this is Lucy:
I guess our day will come for a puppy. In our next house, we will hopefully get one. I'm just not really ready for one yet, especially since I would have to bring it down a bunch of stairs to bring it outside. Is it bad that I feel more ready for a baby than a puppy? Too bad my husband (and our bank account) is not ready for either one! Until he is, I guess another kitty will hold me over;-)

  2. Oh. my. gosh. I'm SO in love with those puppies! I'm not much of a cat person, but dogs just melt my heart! Their coloring is beautiful!

  3. I've always been partial to dogs, but the kittens are super cute! We can't have a puppy in our apartment, but I cannot wait until we can get one! I think a baby will end up coming before that day, haha.

  6. Oh, they are so cute - the kittens and puppies! The kittens almost make me wish we had a cat . . . but to me it seems like it would be harder to deal with a cat. See, you're scared to have a dog, and I'm scared to have a cat! Just depends on the person I guess!
