Friday:
Got the "okay" to take next Friday off (yay!)
Chilled at home with my favorite guy
Watched the first 20 minutes of a movie with Luke, and fell asleep for the rest of it :-P
Woke up at 5AM. Apparently Luke had tried to no avail to wake me up before he went to bed so I could at least go downstairs. It wasn't happening.
At least I don't have any trouble falling asleep!
Saturday:
Had an absolutely lovely birthday brunch for my mom
Got to see my sister and the stray dog she found...which she might be keeping!
Watched Real Housewives of NJ, folded laundry, and clipped coupons all afternoon
Had brinner! (Breakfast for dinner)
Went out to see "Iron Man 2" with Luke, his parents, and sister
Came home and fell asleep early again, this time while watching "Everybody Loves Raymond"
Sunday:
WONDERFUL church service this morning
Had the ground breaking for the new building project this morning! We all got to help by pulling a rope connected to an old-fashioned plow
Got to see my brother-in-law's new motorcycle! (hoping Luke doesn't get any ideas :-P)
Ate lunch at Hot Dog Shoppe with some great people
Took a long, afternoon nap
Cleaned the entire downstairs and felt accomplished!
Tacos and "The Office" for dinner ;-)
Had my breath taken away when I looked outside my kitchen window and saw the most gorgeous twilight sky. I love how God surprises us with blessings like this!
