A Trip to the Farmer's Market

Today I had to go out and buy some things for a dessert I'm making for tomorrow. I decided to head to White House Farms. I just love shopping there for fresh produce and for things that have been made locally. Today I picked up just a few things, but I'm excited about them all...

Fresh peaches. Mmm, my mouth is watering...
Yellow squash which I can't wait to fry up with some onions
Some honey from Deer Creek, Ohio which I will enjoy with toast and peanut butter
And my favorite purchase of the day...
Can you guess what's in the box?...

White House doughnuts! The best in the world! I got 3 sour cream doughnuts, and 3 apple cinnamon. I can't go to White House and not get some doughnuts.

Someone took a bight out of one already
Okay, it was me! :-) I wish I could let you taste one, or even just smell them. Delicious!

I got all of that, plus a bag of chocolate-covered pretzels for Luke, for around $13. Maybe a little more than what you'd pay at the grocery store, but not much!

I also had to go to Giant Eagle to buy ingredients for the dessert I'm making tomorrow night...
If it turns out okay, I'll share it and the recipe (from Pioneer Woman) on Friday
