New Look!!

I know I said awhile ago that I wasn't going to change my blog's look ALL THE TIME anymore, but I just wasn't feeling the old look! I was in the mood for a change, so the result is my blog makeover! I even took the plunge and tried a 3-column layout (gasp!) I actually can't believe I figured out how to do it, but it ended up being pretty simple!

I have been asked a few times how I make my headers. I'll just answer the question here so I only have to do it once: I use Scrapbook Factory Deluxe software to make them all. I got it for Christmas from my sister, and I really love it! There are hundreds of little icons, buttons, ribbons, charms, etc that you can use to add some flair to your header :-) It is a very easy-to-use program, although probably not as versatile as some others. I haven't figured out how to customize the size. I really wish my header was a lot longer so it looked like a banner across the top of my page. Maybe someday I'll figure it out! Anyway, that is that :-)

Completely unrelated to all of this, I received and exciting request earlier today! This afternoon, my pastor called me and asked if I would like to write a blog on the church website! He wants me to write twice a month about the building project we have going on right now. It's cool how God can use those things that we are passionate about for Him! Like blogging :-)

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday! Friday is practically here ;-)

  1. I use a free program called paint.net to do my graphics. You can recalr/ size your headers with that. It's like a scaled down version of Photoshop.
