Week in Review: Busy Week!

Sunday 4/10 - This was such a beautiful day! It got up to 80 degrees and the sun was shining! After church, Luke, JC, Marc, and I went out to eat at Doug's, a greasy burger joint. Sounds gross, but it was delicious! Luke then went to the church to practice for Night of Worship, which is happening tonight!! (tonight meaning the night this will be posted, which will be Sunday April 17 :-)). Anyway, I threw on my headphones and listened to Pandora for an hour while I laid out in the sun. It was so relaxing! Later, I walked to the church to sneak into worship band practice and see how things were going ;-) I then went for a walk with some friends and their cute babies, and we all headed to the church again to listen to the practice for awhile, and then spent most of the evening at Rachel and Jared's house to eat wings and hang out. I walked home and stopped in to visit my grandma who had just returned from a month-long trip to Virginia. It was nice to catch up with her! Anyway, overall it was a great day, and almost felt like summer for a minute or two.
Monday 4/11 - Monday is always connect group, so I went shopping and prepared all afternoon for that. Our group was great that evening as usual! I'm loving it, and kind of sad it's going to end soon!

Tuesday 4/12 - After work I went to the church to work on some library things, and then came home to make some pretzel-crusted chicken for dinner, which turned out to be pretty good! I blogged the recipe here. After dinner, Luke went to play wallyball with his friends as usual on Tuesday nights, and the wives came over to my house to hang out. Karen and Rachel came over, my cousin Sarah brought Baby Hudson with her to visit for a little bit, and then we all went for a quick shopping run before the guys got back. I'm starting to really like these Tuesday night girls' nights :-)

Wednesday 4/13 - I got to visit my "long lost friend" Sarah on Wednesday! I got to see her nice apartment, we went for a walk, ate a delicious dinner of barbecue chicken and perogies made by her roommate Kate, caught up, and watched American Idol. it was a fun night to catch up!
Picture I took on our walk. It was another beautiful day.

Thursday 4/14 - I worked on a lot of miscellaneous projects this night, and we also ate dinner at Luke's parents' house which was wonderful. I always love a night when I don't have to cook!! Later that evening, Luke and I settled in for our Thursday TV night. We love watching The Office, Parks and Recreation, and 30 Rock!

Friday 4/15 - After work I went and worked on more library stuff at the church, then came home and visited my grandma for a little while. After dinner, my friend Kristin came over and we spent the evening indulging in some not-so-healthy food and watching Netflix. I struggled to stay awake after my busy week. Ha! But it was a good time :-)

Saturday 4/16 - I didn't do anything too exciting during the day, but in the evening I had a wedding for an old high school friend. She is also my sister-in-law's sister-in-law if that makes sense. haha! Anyway, we were in danceline, band, and show choir together in high school. Ha! It was great to see her and celebrate the day with her!

Milestones this week: spent a ton of quality time with friends, and it was great!

Movies I watched this week: The Oxford Murders (C. it was boring)

Books I'm reading this week: Just the Bible...too busy for anything else. Still in 2 Chronicles.

Songs I'm loving this week: I was on SUCH a Kelly Clarkson kick this week. My Pandora station was set to her all week. I'm loving Save You and Don't Let me Stop You by her. Also loving Firework by Katy Perry.

Favorite Picture this week: (new category! haha...but I liked the idea of sharing my favorite photo of the week since I take so many!)
I thought this was cute of Gabby in her favorite place: the laundry basket

Things I'm looking forward to next week: SO many things! first of all, Night of Worship is Sunday night...it is our first worship service in our new building and Luke is playing in the worship band. I'm sooo excited!!! Then on Tuesday I'm going on a fun shopping trip with Karen and Rachel. Wednesday is a BIG day: haircut day!! I'm cutting 12 inches off for Wigs for Kids! Then moving on to Friday, I have the day off from work and Luke and I have a breakfast date planned. And of course, looking forward to Easter coming up on the 24th!
