High Five for Friday

I'm linking up with Lauren again for High Five for Friday.  After our fun weekend on the town, this week felt pretty uneventful.  But there were five awesome things to be excited about anyway!

Yes, I am starting with Essie again.  I have decided this is my last bottle for awhile. The addiction has to stop!  Anyway, this is my favorite color so far: tart deco.  I've been wanting a pink/peach shade for awhile, and I love it.

While I'm on the subject of beauty products, I have to mention this Cover Girl Wetslicks lip gloss.  I bought guava, and it makes my lips so shiny!  I love it.  The best part is that it smells so good, and reminds me of my Lip Smackers days in 8th grade when I had a flavor of chapstick for every mood or occasion.

Sunday night when we got home from our trip to Columbus, we went over to our friends Jesse and Rachel's house.  A bunch of the church band members and their wives were there.  It was a beautiful evening, the guys played ultimate frisbee, and the girls watched and chatted.  Later we all hung out around a campfire.  Oh summer nights, I love you so much!

I am working so hard on things for the Etsy shop!  I have set a grand opening date of July 9 if all goes as planned.  I will be selling primarily headbands and other hair accessories, plus a few rosette bracelets for the time being.  Rumor has it that there might be a big giveaway here along with the grand opening, so stay tuned for the chance to win some free stuff!

5. Number five is a secret.  Ha!  Am I allowed to do that?  I found out some exciting news the other day that just might be a huge blessings.  It is one of those situations where God answered a prayer in an affirmative way.  And when I least expected it, He said, "Here's an even better answer to that prayer!  Surprise!"  As I said on Twitter, He sure knows how to keep a girl on her toes!  Again, stay tuned, because I'm sure I'll be writing about this situation in a week or two.

Have a great weekend, loves!

And, can I just say, I've been reading your blog for a couple years now, and your summer nights are always fantastic and filled with fun and good times- what a blessing to have family nearby and a strong church community!
