There is one thing that's making this extra hard. Look what I made yesterday:
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies (with a Frappuccino I bought yesterday before I decided to go on a spur of the moment diet :-P)
I bought the cookie dough from a student for the school fundraiser. And they were amazing. I'm talking crunchy on the edges, soft in the middle, melt in your mouth cookies. And now I can't eat any of them :-( I'm going to give half of them to Luke to eat and HIDE from me, and the other half to my grandma.
I mean, really...who could pass these up?!
Well the reason I'm giving half of them to my grandma, is because I needed to give her a "Welcome to your new house" gift. I've written about it before, but the house Luke and I bought in November has 3 apartments: we live in the top one, we rent out the front bottom one to a family, and we have been re-doing the back one. Because my 85-year-old grandma is moving in! She was living in an apartment attached to my aunt and uncle's house, but they are moving to Virginia. They were the ones that sold us our house, which worked perfectly, because now Grandma has a place to stay! Are you confused yet? Ha! Well, anyway, it was all a big answer to lots of prayers, so praise God!
This Saturday is moving day. The apartment is finally ready, and my grandma cannot wait to move in! It's kind of scary, because now I feel kind of responsible for her. But I think it will be great. I love my grandma dearly...she is one of the sweetest women I know.
So anyway, this weekend is going to be very busy! Saturday is moving day, and Sunday is Easter. We plan on spending it at church, and then going to my other grandma's (& Grandpa's - the one who just got out of the hospital after his gallbladder surgeries) house for our family's Easter dinner. Then we will probably go visit Luke's family, and spend the evening visiting Grandma #1 in her new aparmtent :-)
My Aunt Viv (one of my favorite people) is staying with Grandma for 3 days until she gets settled in, so on Monday me, my mom, Aunt Viv and Grandma are all spending the day together. Who knows what we will do, but I think a pizza from our favorite place, Josie's, will be involved :-) I don't get to see Aunt Viv too often, so I'm super pumped!
I even have Tuesday off next week! Who doesn't love 5-day weekends?! It will be back to the real world on Wednesday, but I'm so excited for some time off. I plan on resting, relaxing, and having a great time with my family :-) I'm getting a little burnt out from the job this year, so this will be great! :-)

I know this post is getting long, but I have to write about this...I just discovered Martha Stewart's website yesterday. Not sure how I've never gone there before, but let me just say I could easily spend HOURS looking at all the recipes, crafts, and entertaining ideas. You should definitely check it out (Although I'm probably the last person on the planet who hadn't looked at her website until YESTERDAY:-P)
Here are a couple cute Easter ideas on her site that I just had to share with you. All the directions are on her site.
