Love is a strong word, but it's how I feel about this corn salsa that my sister brought to our Mother's Day picnic at my house today. The recipe is actually from Chipotle. I've never been there, but this salsa makes me really want to go!

After Wednesday I will be on a liquid/soft food diet until the dentist takes my stitches out. So you better believe I'm eating as much of this good stuff as I can right now!
And before I go, Happy Mother's Day!! I know that God truly blessed me through my mother all my life. She has been gentle and loving with me, but has also made me a tougher person with thicker skin. I'm a nervous person, and she just tells me how it is sometimes. She's real with me, and I love her for that.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I forgot to answer your question! Yes, I was homeschooled from fourth grade through high school, and I loved it! It was really a good thing for me, because it allowed me to get ahead with college and everything, and I think I learned better going at my own pace. I have a lot of good memories from those homeschooling days!
